available Monday to Friday and focuses on for specific activities such as hospital
appointments, hospital visits, GP visits etc.
Please note that this service is for the rural areas of Coleraine
and Ballymoney boroughs only. If you live in the Urban area of Coleraine
or Ballymoney, you can avail of the TPPD (Transport for Passengers with
Disabilities) service. You can view the full

To access the service, you must be a member of CART

To become a member simply fill in an individual membership
form which is available from the office, or by clicking on the
Individual Membership link. However
applicants must meet certain criteria such as low income, limited access to
transport… for more information please contact the office.

The membership is a one-off cost of £1.00.

Being a member enables you to avail of the service, but it
does not guarantee you that the vehicle will be available anytime you
require it.

CART offers use of our volunteer driven cars, or a wheelchair
accessible 9 seater minibus for disabled clients.

Our booking system operates on a first come first served
basis.

The cost of the transport will vary depending on your
destination. At present the price is as follows:

35p per mile, with a minimum contribution of £5.00

We are currently looking for a pool of volunteer drivers for this service.
CART will reimburse your expenses and offer training for volunteers, this may
not affect your benefits. If you are interested, please contact the
